How to apply

Journalists from print media, television and radio broadcast companies, e-media as well as Festival guests can obtain accreditation to cover the Astana International Action Film Festival. The official accreditation period is May 15 through June 25.   Personalized badges will be granted to accredited persons in the lobby of the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation June 25 through June 30.

Personal badge may not be transferable and cannot be restored in case of loss or damage.

To obtain accreditation for the Astana International Action Film Festival you will need to apply.

The Festival Organizing Committee reserves the right to accept or reject requests.

The possibility of covering Film Festival travel expenses and/or lodging for foreign journalists is considered in each case individually.

Registration

The official accreditation period is May 15 through June 26 till 6 p.m. Personalized badges will be granted to accredited persons in the lobby of the Palace of Peace and Concord from June 27 till July 4:

June 27 through June 30 - 11.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.

July 1 -  10 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.

July 2/3 - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Personal badges are required when entering press-conferences, photo calls and other events involving mass media.

Information materials

Information materials for the Festival will be issued simultaneously with the badge during registration. Kit includes: Guide to the festival program, the schedule of movie showings and activities that include participation by the media, CD/DVD with photos and video, gift sets, and a visitors’ map of Astana.

Information desk (not only for media)

Information kiosks will be installed at points around the festival. These will have the map of the festival (the map of the city with ceremonies and press centers marked, and the addresses of the points of the festival. This provides the opportunity for daily posting of the schedule of the day’s events, advertisements, and other information).

General Program

Entrance to the sessions of the Festival program is open to accredited journalists, depending on availability.

Evening Shows

Entry to the evening screenings permitted exclusively upon presentation of a personalized journalistic badge, and subject to availability.

Red Carpet Parade of Stars

To participate in the coverage of the Red Carpet Parade of Stars television media and photographers must be accredited and notify the Press Room before the parade. To enter you must have a personalized badge.

Photo jokes with the stars

Before press conferences photo shoot stars will be arranged specifically for the media. Entrance is only possible for accredited photographers and camera operators upon presentation of a personalized badge.

Press Conferences

Entry at press conferences is intended for accredited journalists, and is subject to availability. Taking pictures with flash during press conferences is forbidden.

Master classes

Entry at press conferences is intended for accredited journalists, and is subject to availability.

Round table

Entry to the Roundtable Hall is ​​by invitation only.
